2019 PEO Lambton AGM

The Lambton PEO held it’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at the Best Western in Sarnia. The evening included:

• A presentation by the Chair, Phil Lasek, about the events of the last year including our current financial standing, a call for nominations for the 2019 executive, and voting for the 2019 executive.

• Jeff Laucke from FIRST Robotics presented PEO with a certificate to thank them for their 2018 donation to the program and provide information about the program that they run.

• John Ward from Adopt-a-Scientist gave a brief presentation about the program and information about its revamp happening in February.

• Five new engineers received their Professional Engineer Licence Certificates.

• A delicious dinner of rice, curried vegetables, and butter chicken, was served, which paired perfectly with a the guest speaker’s, Krista Singh, P.Eng., presentation about her recent trip to India with Pollinate Energy, a social enterprise company.
